Governor Najma Heptullah is a known person of the country. She has done many important roles in active politics for four to five decades. And selected six times in Upper House, i.e. a member of the Rajya Sabha And during this time, he raised many urgent issues in the House, and he was honoured for the excellent MP for 2013.
On 13th April 1940, Sayyada Najma Heptullah was born in the state of Bhopal. Najma, who has been associated with the family of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, inherited politics.
After completing his studies in Bhopal, she did his MSc and PhD in animal science, Najma was married to Akbar Ali Heptullah in 1966.
At the same time, he also stepped in politics, he worked hard for the Congress party, in 1980 for the Congress ticket, to represent Maharashtra in the Rajya Sabha. She played a key role in several parliamentary committees like Public Accounts Committee.
In 1985, he was elected the Rajya Sabha Deputy Speaker for the first time, But due to parliamentary work efficiency, she got this post three times.
From 1988 to 2000, he continued to do politics for six consecutive terms as the Rajya Sabha Deputy Speaker, working for Congress party for 24 consecutive years in the Rajya Sabha, he announced to leave the party in 2004, she took the BJP’s favour, and BJP took him hand to hand.
In 2007, for the presidential election, BJP lost the election of Mohammad Hamid Ansari to her candidature. But it did not make any difference to her confidence.
In 2014, Narendra Modi’s government she became a minority welfare minister. After being in office for two years, she was given the responsibility of the Governor of Manipur.
