राज्य सरकार ने सरकारी स्कूलों में पढने वाले क्लास 8वीं से 10वीं तक के छात्रों को छात्रवृत्ति देने के लिए 182 करोड़ दे दिये हैं| यह छात्रवृत्ति सिर्फ सिर्फ एससी एसटी, पिछड़े और अतिपिछड़े वर्ग के छात्रों को दिया जायेगा| इस बार बिहार सरकार छात्रवृत्ति का पैसा सीधा छात्रों के अकाउंट में भेजेगी|

बिहार स्कालरशिप क़रीब 10 लाख बिहारी छात्रों को दी जायेगी जिसके तहत 8वीं से 10वीं तक के प्रत्येक छात्रों को प्रति महीने 150 रुपये तथा सालाना 1500 रुपये दिए जायेंगे| बिहार स्कालरशिप में 50 रुपये की बढ़ोतरी की गयी है|
